Earth as Art

Today’s technology gave us great observation abilities for many aspects of our lives and surroundings. Satellites are one of the many technological devices that are used for countless things. From science and military observation to more commercial and civil use, but our interest is in the more “creative eye” of the device. Below are a set of high resolution images taken from the USGS site, the images are acquired by the Landsat 7 satellite. They are a collection of Earth’s surface collected to celebrate 30th anniversary of the Landsat program that is joined program between NASA and U.S Geological Survey.
