March equinox represent a turning point on Earth hemispheres, when seasons change. The Southern hemisphere starts to cool down and the North begins to get warmer, or this day marks the beginning of spring and the end of winter in the  Northern Hemisphere, and the beginning of autumn and the end of summer in the Southern Hemisphere.




In year 0141 AD was recorded the 6th perihelion passage of Halley's Comet, which was recorded in Purananuru, a Tamil poetic work. First appearance that scholars adopted as certain are in 240 BC recorded in Chinese chronicle Records of the Grand Historian. Since then the comet has been sited 30 times, last in 9 February 1986, and predictions are people will see it again on 28 July 2061

In year 1947 in the South Atlantic whalers reported that a 173 metric tons or 191 short tons whale has been weighted. The whale was a female, weather this numbers are correct or exaggerated we will never know, but either way this is a great animal that lives in our oceans.
